As true visionaries, the Jesuit Fathers of St. Xavier's College proposed the introduction of computer training and computer awareness programme in the College in 1985. With the support from a generous alumni and other like-minded people, St. Xavier's Computer Centre was inaugurated on 4th November 1985 on the occasion of 125th Anniversary of the College with Fr. Albert Huart as the founder Director. On March 1, 2015, the Computer Centre was reinstituted as "Computer Centre and Central Computing Facilities" and presently the department is headed by Prof. Shalabh Agarwal as the Director.
Courses based on the latest technology and industry demand are offered to fulfill the need for quality and skilled professionals. various ICT related needs and the entire ICT

under the guidance of IT
