News: ABP Ananda Shiksha Samman 2024

n one of the most celebrated event in the heart of the city today, 27th June 2024, to felicitate academic institutions and their administrations that have attained exemplary achievements in the field of education "ABP Ananda Shiksha Samman 2024" organized by frontline Bengali news channel ABP Ananda was held today at the Rangmanch, Swabhumi, Kolkata Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ, Principal, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata and President, St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association was felicitated with the ABP Siksha Ratna Samman for the institution's glorious past of 164 years and it's continuous ventures to imparting quality education in the the eastern part of the country, along with all the path breaking initiatives taken up in day by day basis for the wellbeing of the young students and the society at large. The award was handed over to Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ by Prof. Dr. Sujit Kr. Bose, Ex Vice Chancellor, Biswa Bharati and Mr. Anindya Chatterjee, eminent singer in the august presence of Mr. Suman Dey, Editor, ABP Ananda. Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ recieved the award along with Rev. Dr. Peter Arokiam, Rev. Dr. Joseph Kulandai and Prof. Dr. Ramit Beed. Father Principal has dedicated this award to the three main pillars of SXC that are the students, staff and alumni. The program was well attended by the members of the SXCCAA.
