Live Projects

At Xavier's Consultancy Club, we engage in live consultancy projects with real-life organizations. We apply our expertise, honed by the professional guidance of our MBB mentors and professor board, systematically, and tailored through a thorough assessment of the client's needs and objectives. Once the objectives are clarified, we assemble teams based on our members' expertise and skills.

Over the past few years, we have completed over 9 live projects with different companies, encompassing a wide range of industries such as beauty, education, and healthcare.

Our top three projects involve working with Kolkata Airport Customs, Kanoria Foundation, and a private Biscuit manufacturing firm. The Kolkata Airport Customs project was aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency of the customs process. Our analysis serves as a foundation for informed decision-making and strategic interventions to streamline operations and elevate the overall passenger experience at Kolkata Airport. Our project with the Kanoria Foundation involves assisting them with their Project Shristinagar which is developing a smart township. Along with that, we are working on Project Sahaj, a rural inclusivity program aimed at onboarding village-level entrepreneurs. The biscuit manufacturing live project involved conducting a thorough supply chain analysis, generating strategic recommendations, and evaluating value propositions. We examined distribution mixes, marketing channels, and sales funnels to optimize efficiency.

Our Initiatives:

Annual Consulting Camp

The Annual Consulting Camp, our flagship two-day event, has been tailored to provide an in-depth understanding of the consulting sphere by offering an unparalleled platform for freshmen to interact with industry stalwarts and gain hands-on experience. The event commences with an illuminating fire chat session led by a keynote speaker, delving into the intricacies of consulting. It is followed by a live on-stage case-solving session in which the audience is challenged to analyze the situation, identify key issues, develop solutions in real-time, and solve cases given by MBB consultants, alongside our Senior Consultants. Subsequently, participants immerse themselves in immersive workshops, honing case-solving skills and mastering guesstimate techniques. This camp is a prime opportunity for budding enthusiasts eager to embark on a journey in the consulting realm.

Cases Over Coffee

"Cases Over Coffee" stands as a visionary undertaking by Xavier's Consulting Club, focused on augmenting the awareness of college students regarding the intricate world of consulting. This dynamic program provides a platform for participants to immerse themselves in the resolution of real-life cases while engaging in spirited competition with their peers. Through this immersive journey, they meticulously hone both technical prowess and the finesse of soft skills, pivotal in Strategy and Management Consulting. The initiative is ingeniously tailored to bridge the gap stemming from the often limited exposure that undergraduates encounter in the consulting domain. Our meticulously curated sessions are aimed at not only amplifying analytical acumen and problem-solving skills but also disseminating profound insights across the expanse of management consulting. "Cases Over Coffee" emerges as more than a mere crucible of practical skills; it stands as a threshold inviting students to traverse the domain of consulting possibilities, fostering prudent career decisions.

Emerald - Casebook

One of the noteworthy upcoming initiatives at Xavier's Consulting Club is the casebook Emerald, which will serve as a gateway to gain invaluable insights into various industries and understand the role of a consultant. It would assist in delving deep into business complexities and strategies and help in decision-making.

It would provide a structured framework to the readers providing them with various approaches to solving cases and getting a glimpse into the world of consulting. Furthermore, to help guide the consultants with their analysis it aims to provide a plethora of sample solutions to over twenty cases, and an introduction to the frameworks which may include problem-solving methodologies and best practices commonly used in the industry, along with detailed industry reports.

Within the college, the casebook would represent an unparalleled and pioneering resource, embodying a unique contribution to academic and professional realms.
