The 25th Board of Management Meeting of the Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC), Kolkata, was held on 13 August 2026 at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC),Prof. (Dr.). Parikshat Singh Manhas, Principal of St. Xavier’s College, Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ and Director, EMRC Kolkata, Dr. Rakshak Jain, along with other members of the Board of Management. Dr. Nikhil K. Sachan Deputy Secretary University Grands Commission was also present in the meeting online. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Board to deliberate on the future direction and growth of EMRC Kolkata. Members discussed strategies for strengthening the Media Centre’s academic and media-related activities, enhancing its contribution to educational content creation, and identifying new avenues for innovation and outreach. The Board also discussed ways to further develop the Centre and strengthen its role within the CEC network in the evolving landscape of educational media and digital learning.
