LOOKING BEYOND - V , National Meet of Xaverians , 18-19 October , Bengaluru

What an incredible few days we have had! It was a time of deep connection, reflection on our shared Xaverian values, and unforgettable moments. From inspiring conversations on our mission and vision to the joy of spending time with cherished friends, old and new, this gathering truly embodied the Xaverian spirit. The magic of this event was brought alive by the warmth of our fellowship, the energy of brilliant performances and the delight of spending time with celebrities who added a special spark to our celebrations.

Words fall short in expressing my heartfelt gratitude to:

We are extremely thankful to the chief guest Shri Santosh S Lad, Hon’ble Minister, Dept. of Labour, Karnataka for sharing his valuable time with us . Special thanks to the guest of honour Dr. Syed MH Kirmani, Former Indian Cricketer and World Cup winning team member for inspiring the audience with his experience and insights . Sincere appreciation and gratitude for all the recepient of awards , artists , performers and panelists .

We are extremely delighted to honour Padma Shri Kavita Krishnamurthy along with Dr L. Subramaniam for their remarkable contribution in the field of Music .  

The National Meet – Looking Beyond holds a unique place in our hearts. It’s not just a reunion; it’s a journey beyond the familiar walls of Room No. 5, 30 Park Street, and the Raghabpur Campus. It reconnects us with Xaverians spread across the country, reminding us that no matter where life takes us, the Xaverian bond is eternal.

To the South Zone Chapter, you have my deepest appreciation. Thank you for your dedication, teamwork, and for bringing this celebration to life in the beautiful Garden City of India. Special thanks to Chapter coordinator Rudra Shankar Roy for your tireless efforts. This National Meet  was a success because of the passionate hard-work of conveners Umesh Goenka and Arun Bhatter, the invaluable advice of my fellow advisor Gautam Bhattacharya, and the leadership , planning and guidance of our Honorary Secretary Firdausul Hasan—thank you all for your commitment and love for the Xaverian community.

To our vibrant masters of ceremonies —Snehasis Sur, Hasnu Mukherjee, Dipan Das, Ushoshee Sengupta, Sanjoy Sarbadhikari, and Raya Bhattacharya—thank you for bringing life, humour and elegance to the event.

My heartfelt gratitude also goes to all the alumni members and their families. You made this event a joyous celebration of our shared journey. And of course, a special thanks to Sanjay Gupta and the Hotel Sheraton Grand Bengaluru for being the perfect hosts and making us feel so welcome.

Special appreciation extended to our dedicated members who were felicitated for their Exemplary services - Snehasis Sur , Yogesh Chopra , Sudeshna Roy Choudhury and Arjun Dhawan . May your hard work , commitment , compassion inspire all of us .

This reunion reminded us of the power of community and the unbreakable bond that unites us. As we part ways for now, I carry the joy, memories, and friendships renewed in my heart—until we meet again at the next edition.
