Seminars: Postgraduate Dept of Education Organises National Seminar on Rising India, NEP 2020 and Suatainable Development: Looking Back and Ahead

The Postgraduate Department of Education, St Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata organised a National Seminar  in collaboration with the Department of Education, University of Calcutta, entitled Rising India, NEP 2020 and Sustainable Development: Looking Back and Ahead.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Rector Rev. Fr. Jeyaraj Veluswamy SJ, Rector,Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio SJ, Principal,Vice-Principals and other dignitaries of the college and University of Calcutta. The seminar was organized under the mentorship of Dr. Swati Sarkar,Vice Principal, Education, St. Xavier’s college and Prof . Sudeshna Lahiri, HoD, Education, University of Calcutta.
 
The primary objective of the seminar was to reflect on the progress of India, the dynamic nature of the challenges faced, and the opportunities that lie ahead as India strives for a better future not merely from a domestic perspective but rather one that encompasses the global scope.
