SXCCAA Deccan Chapter Meet 2026 – Hyderabad
The St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association (SXCCAA) organised the Deccan Chapter Meet 2026 on 19 September 2026 at The Bougainvillea, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The gathering brought together Xaverians from different generations for fellowship, reconnection, networking and strengthening the alumni fraternity.
The Meet was graced by Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ, Principal, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata and President, SXCCAA, as Chief Guest, along with Mr. Sanjib Koner, Honorary Secretary, SXCCAA. Rev. Fr. Bujji Babu and Rev. Fr. Rex Angelo of Loyola Academy, Secunderabad also attended the gathering.
The programme included the felicitation of dignitaries, a Welcome Address by Mr. Rakesh Singhania, and an inspiring Keynote Address by Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ. Audio-Visual presentations showcased SXCCAA’s philanthropic initiatives, particularly “Ripples of Hope” and the Raghabpur Campus.
A major highlight was the unveiling of the brochure “Bridges of Hope – Looking Beyond”, highlighting SXCCAA’s continuing commitment to supporting rural education and economically disadvantaged students at the Raghabpur Campus.
The organising team, including Rakesh Singhania and Upasana Law, was felicitated for their efforts in bringing together the Deccan Chapter Xaverians. The formal programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Sanjib Koner, followed by fellowship and celebration.
The Deccan Chapter Meet 2026 was a warm celebration of Xaverian fellowship, philanthropy and the enduring bond with the Alma Mater, reinforcing the spirit of “Men and Women for and with Others.”
