The college was granted permission by the University of Calcutta to independently initiate Ph.D. Program in the Post-Graduate and Research Departments of Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Commerce, Computer Science, English, Bengali and Political Science and Economics respectively.

The Ph.D. Program has been running successfully under the abled leadership of Rev.
