“St. Xavier’s College [Autonomous], 30 Mother Teresa Sarani, Kolkata -700 016, invites applications with complete  Bio-data & relevant documents for the following post of full-time Assistant Professor :-

1. Assistant Professor in the Department of Mass Communication And Videography [College created  (Full-time) - 1 post][Level-10]

Minimum Qualification required: M.A. / M.Sc. in Mass Communication and Videography with minimum 55% marks, NET or SET or Ph.D (Under Regulations 2009) Registered / Qualified. Desirable Expertise :  Proficiency in Visual Art, Cultural Theory, Film Theory, Television Studies and Intermediality, Research Theories and Practices.

At least 3 to 5 years of teaching experience  may be preferred.

Qualifying upper age limit is 40 (forty years) as on 01.01.2026 relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category (non-creamy layer) candidates.
