Applications are invited from eligible NET/GATE-qualified candidates for two research positions under the DBT-sanctioned project entitled “An Integrated Biomanufacturing Platform with CO2 Capture for Novel Microbial Formulations Targeting Methane Reduction and Drought Resilience in Rice-Wheat Cropping Systems.”The project is for a duration of 2 years and will be undertaken under the supervision of Dr. Arup Kumar Mitra, Principal Investigator (PI), and Dr. Sudeshna Shyam Choudhury, Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. The positions available are 1 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Candidates applying for the SRF position must have at least 2 years of relevant research experience along with relevant research publication(s). Candidates with the requisite academic qualifications, NET/GATE qualification, and research aptitude are encouraged to apply. The selected candidates will receive monthly emoluments as per the prevailing norms of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.
