Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Faculty in the Postgraduate Department of Data Science.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MSc/MTech/ME) or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and modern data analysis tools.
Industry Experience:
- Candidates with relevant industry experience (2–5 years or more) in Data Science, AI/ML, or Analytics will be preferred.
- Experience in end-to-end project development, real-world problem solving, and industry consultancy/collaboration is desirable.
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and model deployment (MLOps).
- Prior teaching/training experience and/or research contributions
Role Expectations:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Data Science
- Mentoring student projects and internships, and facilitating career opportunities
- Contributing to research, consultancy, and collaborative initiatives.
